I have enjoyed Betty through this list for many years and thought she would always be there! Her achievements are remarkable and we all owe her our deepest gratitude. I am neither a stained glass artist nor a researcher, merely an interested amateur who has always pursued stained glass windows on visits to Europe. I have also enjoyed the Chagall windows at Hadassah Hospital and the Arikha windows in the
Jerusalem Municipality building in Israel.
Would it be possible to scan Betty’s dissertation and make it available online in a PDF version? If she never published it as a book then this is perhaps the best way to make the work available to a large reading public. My condolences to her family on their sudden loss. The traditional Jewish blessing is that they should know no further sorrow.
