I met Betty in 2008 when I was assigned to the Michigan Stained Glass Census. Betty was easy to work with because she was the consummate organizer. Any work she brought to me was always, numbered, sorted and organized. She had a great aptitude for the latest technologies. Her knowledge of stained glass artists was exceptional. Thanks to her great leadership, the Michigan Stained Glass Census is the leading research tool for stained glass in Michigan and probably the country. I’m sure the volume of her work will
become apparent in the coming months when she is no longer here to do it. I only hope I can carry it on in a way that would maker her proud. – Beth Donaldson
